Piano Lessons
Inspiring a love for music while building strong, healthy technique and artistry — for students of all ages and levels in the Cincinnati area.
Teaching Philosophy
The beginning years are a key time for developing a healthy, strong, and relaxed technique. Students build the skills to play with ease and express the meaning within the music.
Strong Foundations
Lessons include music theory, ear training, and music history — giving students the context to understand and communicate the language of music. Composition and improvisation are also explored.
A Complete Musical Education
Baroque & Historical Performance
Through studying the harpsichord and historical performance practice (1500–1650), Mari brings a deep understanding of baroque music to the modern piano — enriching every student's repertoire.
Who Are Lessons For?
From young beginners to adult learners, the studio welcomes students at every stage. Piano lessons are a wonderful way to build confidence and develop new skills at any age.
Students of All Ages
Playing Through Physical Challenges
Physical challenges- whether smaller hands, tension, pain, or arthritis in the hands and arms- don't have to limit a student's progress. Playing at a higher level can pose unique challenges for those with smaller hands or tension. Mari is specially qualified to help students overcome these challenges with creative, injury free solutions.
Exam & Audition Preparation
With over fifteen years preparing students for the Royal Conservatory of Music's Examination Program, Mari also guides students through auditions for music schools, programs, and competitions.
