Mari Nishihata

Mari Nishihata is a piano teacher and active performer in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Master of Music in harpsichord performance and earned her Bachelor of Music in piano performance from the University of Dayton. Mari has over fifteen years of experience as a piano instructor and performer.

Mari began piano lessons at the age of six and has found music to be her preferred form of communication. Music is a way to express the essence of experience and is a source of deep inspiration. It has the power to connect one to the quiet place of the inner self. Through her compositions, performances and teaching, Mari hopes to share the beauty, power, and joy of music.
